Things that make me feel good.

1) Days like today is DEFINITELY at the top of my list. I love the sunshine, and the promise of spring. That God is recreating again. It reminds me of one of my favorite quotes "there is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways which you, yourself have changed." ~Nelson Mandella~ I LOVE that quote. Every year the spring comes back, and it feels like an old friend you haven't seen in a while, but you pick up right where you left off. There's NOTHING like walking outside and the sun is shining, and the birds are chirping.

2) Kisses from Jim. I love that man so much, and there's nothing like coming home after a crappy day (Today won't be one of them!) And he jumps off the couch and yells "MELISSA!" and gives me a great big hug and a kiss.

3) Seeing my niece and nephews. I love spending time with them. and there's nothing like the love of a child to make all your stress melt away. Dylan always screams and runs away when he sees me, because its a big game for him. And marissa always waves and blows kisses. Its so sweet, and it absolutely metls my heart. Michael is getting a bit older, but I love being able to have conversations with him, because now he is begining to understand the world a lot better. I love the three of them so much!

4) My friends. There is nothing like a day out with my girls, full of laughter, hugs, jokes, and sarcasm. We have so much fun. And of course, a long with that comes my obsession with life. Scrapbooking. I love scrapbooking, and scrapbooking with friends is even better! Its so good to get input and creative suggestions from someone else. :-D

5) Letchworth makes me so happy. I love that place. It goes along with the quote I posted with #1. Its so beautiful there, and no matter how many times I go there, and how often in a year I go. Its always the same, yet I keep changing. I'm growing up, and I'm getting married!

6) Planning my wedding is so much fun! I can't wait to marry Jim, and I'm completely in awe of God for giving me such a wonderful man to love!

7) Making new friends. I love meeting new people, and getting to know new people. I especially love seeing my friends meet new people. I want all of my friends to feel as blessed and as loved as I do with Jim. Its a wonderful feeling, and all of my single friends deserve so much to find that kind of love. And its really exciting to watch them find it.

8) Most of all God makes me happy. He's given me so many things to be thankful for. And I am so excited that I get to worship him. That he's given me this wonderful life, this wonderful fience, and the amazing friendships that I have formed. I'm so blessed.


Nothing like one of the first warm days after a BITTER cold winter to make you see how much I really have, despite all the stress in my life right now.
