My Grandma

A little background for anyone who hasn't talked to me much over the last several weeks. Upon being asked what I wanted for my birthday, the only thing I could come up with was "for my arm to not hurt anymore." And I meant it. wholeheartedly.

So, today, my 26th birthday, My arm doesn't hurt AS much. Praise God! I don't know what did it. It could be the muscle relaxers I started Tuesday, or the power of prayer. As a Christian, I'd like to think its the power of prayer, because God is GOOD!

So, I called my grandma, who is one of my best friends, and is the person I trust most in my life, and this is how the conversation went.

Me: Guess what! My arm doesn't hurt anymore!
Grandma: Thats great, I'm so glad to hear that baby.
Me: I know! Me too, Its so nice to sleep AND have it not hurt (this has been a HUGE problem!)
Grandma: I said a prayer last night for you, maybe that did it.
Me: Thanks! I've asked a lot of friends to pray for me too, and I've been praying a lot about it too!
Grandma: Well, What I'm saying to you is MY prayer healed your arm.

hahaha. She's such an awesome lady. I'm so glad I have her in my life. I don't know what I'd do without her!

I love you grandma.

Thanks to everyone else who made my birthday so completely wonderful. I love you guys so very much!
