Estelle Getty, Better known as Sophia from the Golden Girls passed away this morning. I'm very sad by this. My grandma and I used to sit side by side in her recliner(Yes we're THAT skinny!!!) and watch the show together every week. I'm so sad that Estelle Getty is gone. I loved all of her one liners throughout the series. She was so funny! I STILL Watch the golden girls, and I think about my grandma and I watching it together often. Its sad when the people you love most in the world get older, and to see people that are the same age as her pass away, makes it very sad.
What a wonderful childhood memory. And I'm forever grateful to the writers of the golden girls to complete these memories for me!
