I'm really really bad with saying goodbye. In fact, I hate it. Goodbyes are not easy, they never are. So, here goes nothing.
Katie,
I can't believe your leaving. I am so incredibly proud of you for taking this step, and chasing your dream, even though it means leaving behind so many family members and friends who will miss you like crazy! I am so proud of the changes you have made in your life over the last several months. It has not been easy, but the changes you made are definitely necessary. You have taken a step in the right direction in your life, chasing your dreams, and becoming a much stronger woman. I will miss you a lot. We will definitely keep in touch. I can't imagine my life without you in it. Thank you for everything your friendship has brought into my life. Good luck with everything in Alabama. I'll be here when you get back, and always over the phone or text.
Remember Katie, you deserve the world. Now go out and get it!
