New Years Resolutions

I have never been one to make a new years resolutions. I know 90+ % of people end up breaking their new years resolutions, so I've always figured if its something thats important enough to me, I'll just do it, I don't need the new year to make changes that I need to make. I challenge myself all the time on things I don't like about myself. And I try to change them.

Last year, My friends Bunny and Frank made a resolution that changed my life. They decided they would make more effort to stay better in touch with their friends. It used to be that we would call Frank or Bunny and it would take them AT LEAST a week to call us back. So last minute plans were not feasible. ever.

Now I talk to Bunny and Frank at LEAST twice a week, and very few weekends go by where we don't see them. I love it. So, since they decided to make the effort, Jim and I decided to also.

This year has been completely incredible. From the new friendships I have in Suzie, Julie, Jill and Jenna to a deeper friendship with Amanda, Jim, Bunny, Frank, TJ, Amy, and everyone else!

I cannot wait to see what 2009 brings for me and for Jim. Our wedding is coming so fast!!! Its so exciting!!
