Wedding Planning

Well, the wedding planning is just about done. I have very few things left to do, most of which I cannot do right now anyways!

But let me just tell you. I am so tired of this wedding!! I cannot wait to marry Jim, he's really incredible, and even more so, I cannot wait for our vacation!! But the planning itself, I'm over it. As soon as I think I'm almost done, new things pop up. Its never ending!! And I keep having to plan things that aren't really my responsibility. Oh well, if you want something right do it yourself, right?

Yeah, so I'm just stressed out, and I need to walk away from life for a day or two and get my head back on straight so I can finish everything :)

Anchor Paper Company

My invitations have been somewhat of a concern for Amanda and I. Because of the length of the paper needed to do it, and the amount of invitations we needed. I decided to search online for a place to buy the paper we need, so that at least it wouldn't cost as much. I came across a lot of brides talking about Anchor Paper company. So I checked out the website. It was a little confusing, so I emailed them through their contact us page, and I got a response within 10 minutes. I told him what I was looking for, and what I needed, and he sent me the quote. It was $30 less than my budget, and he would cut the paper for us!!!! So instead of buying paper that was 35x30 and having to cut it on my own, he saved us a LOT of work, and a LOT of money!!!

I ordered the paper and I got it 3 days later, I am very impressed, and I can't wait to start really working on the invitations!!!

Dress Shopping

I had an adventure and a half yesterday! My girls and I went dress shopping. It was so much fun! I loved it. It was a great time to talk and hang out. I love that my girls all know each other pretty well. Once I was in a bridal shop and saw the bride introducing her bridesmaids. I don't want my wedding to be like that! It's been so much more fun, so far, because they do all get along, and they do all know each other.

These are the two dresses we narrowed it down to. Which one do you guys like more? both dresses will be in blue, about the same shade as the one with all three of them in the same dress!

Here are a few pictures from Glendoveer's on Friday afternoon. We went there on May 23, 2008. Which is exactly one year from the day we'll be saying our vows there :0) Jim's amazing. I'm so lucky :-D
